Sarah Foster

Director of Programming and Community Connections

Sarah Foster brings more than 25 years of teaching experience to the NorthShore Classical Academy. A Wisconsin life-time licensed educator from the University of WI-Madison with teaching experience in both private and public schools, she has taught English Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Gifted and Talented, Family and Consumer Sciences, and Theatre. Sarah is passionate about helping students grow in knowledge, confidence, and character while fostering a lifelong love of learning. She is dedicated to building meaningful connections between the school, families, and the broader community to support the academy’s mission and enrich the student experience.

Outside of school, Sarah treasures time with her three adult children whenever they are home, caring for her two German Shepherds, Blossom and Violet, and spending quality time with her mother. She also enjoys Baroque music, whether listening, practicing or teaching the violin or piano, and is grateful for opportunities to serve her church community.

Augustine-Herrmann

Augustine Herrmann

Augustine Herrmann heads the Latin department at Northshore Classical Academy. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Concordia University Wisconsin with a degree in English and a double minor in History and Classical Education. He was also published in the collegiate journal Quaestus. After graduating, he worked at Founders Classical Academy of Prosper in Dallas, Texas, first as a literature and Latin teacher for 6th and 7th grade, and later taught Ancient literature and Medieval British Literature to Freshmen and Sophomores. Augustine greatly admires the Latin language; its structure, logic, and cultural influence continuously impact history, literature, and philosophy. In his free time, Augustine enjoys weightlifting, pick-up Basketball, playing the trombone, and reading books with his wife.
