Leaving the comfort of home schooling, the routines of government education, or the familiar educational methodologies of our K-8 private school partners can be a daunting experience for new 9th graders. Many are not fully prepared for the challenging cadence of a Classical Education – a fact well appreciated by NorthShore Classical Academy’s academic team. In fact – NCA views this as an opportunity.

Designed especially for our founding class, NorthShore Classical Academy’s free Summertime Learning Series offers enrolled freshmen a powerful and confidence building head start on the most challenging aspects of Classical Learning.

Students choose from among a wide array of skills-sharpening workshops, ranging from Reading Skills to The Classical Reading Club, from Math Skills to Cursive Writing, and featuring the fascinating and fun Latin for Success: All led by caring, patient and experienced educators.
