Athletics
Athletics at NorthShore Classical Academy complement our classical education by shaping both body and character. Through teamwork and competition, students build community and grow in virtues such as perseverance and humility.
NorthShore Classical Academy students will fully benefit from participation in athletics, and the lessons of teamwork, sportsmanship and excellence in achievement realized through sports. The Academy will be joining the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, with full membership anticipated after meeting the association’s three year membership accession process, which will commence September, 2026.
In the interim, NCA, in partnership with the Port Washington – Saukville School District, will join in all of the athletic programming offered at Port Washington High School, serving grades 9 through 12. These opportunities will be promulgated, managed and coordinated by NCA’s Athletics Coordinator.
Sports offered at Port Washington High School include:
- Girls Basketball, Soccer, Softball, Field Hockey, Volleyball and Lacrosse.
- Boys Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Volleyball, Football, Lacrosse and Wrestling.
NOTE: NCA’s gymnasium is set for minimal renovation in Phase 2 which will allow basketball and volleyball to move to the school’s facility.
Parent Volunteers
Parent involvement is an essential part of NorthShore Classical Academy’s athletics program. Families may support our teams in many ways, including coaching, providing transportation, assisting with concessions, and attending events as enthusiastic fans. A strong athletics program reflects a school community working together in support of our students. Parents interested in coaching are encouraged to contact the school at gro.iwACN@ofni, referencing athletics volunteer.
